One reviewer say it carries - "Gear: canon r6 with 24-70 2.8 lens, and extra 50mm 1.2 plus adapter" Your gear wil leasily fit. Edit: I did a bit of re-arranging of the divider and 5L actually fits the R w 24-105 L and 50 1.8 easier once I got everyting oriented correctly. So either one will work, but the 6L should give you a bit of extra room.

The higher quality optics on the f2.8 transmit light more efficiently. Some tests show that the f2.8 actually transmits about 3.2 and the f4 transmits about 5.1. About 1.5 stops difference is noteworthy. The 24-70 weighs about 5 ounces more, has an 82mm vs 77mm filter thread, and has no IS.
This zoom lens is suitable for use along with an APS-C full frame sensor. It supports auto focus as well as manual focus. The Canon EF 24-105mm f4 L IS II USM is also dust and splash resistant, making that bit more suitable for use outdoors. It has a 4.2 x zoom factor and an aperture range of f4 - f22.
