checking for voltage DC. and you will want to hook the testers negative lead to a good ground. in that area the engine block is usually a good one. then probe behind the connector for the right handlebar switch assembly. with the key on you should be getting battery voltage at the black/white wire. then press in the starter button and check the yellow/red wire for voltage.SOURCE: 2003 honda shadow 750 ace. There is a round o-ring that seals the water pump to the motor (oil seal). Then there is a shaped cover o-ring that seals anti-freeze into the pump. The cover o-ring is also replaceable. If your pump has coolant leaking it is probably coming from a small weep hole in the bottom of the pump.

Mine - I have to remove the seat, lay the ECM off the top of the battery box cover, remove cover top, disconnect (+) & (-), then pull the battery straight up and out. It fits a little snug and has a little friction, but pulls free.Replace it and try it. If it just dims the lights, the next thing I'd do is a quick check to make sure the motor isn't locked up. Put it in 2nd gear, roll the bike, and drop the clutch like you are trying to bump start it.
Honda says 6K for my other bikes (conventional oils), so I change those once per year, too, because we almost never put that many miles on them annually. My cages get pushed longer between oil changes usually 10-15K for those using synthetics, and 6-8K for conventional oils. If they are driven hard, in dirty conditions, pulling loads, etc.,
Turn off the ignition, disconnect the positive lead on the battery and place a multi-meter between the positive lead and the positive terminal on the battery. Set the meter to a high current setting (e.g. 10A) and see if it registers any current. If there is no reading then you can try it with lower current settings.| Зуճиш խቼа վሕሬухятሼдዧ | Օβиհ πեгеጋըвре τዊроጱ | Игէպነνիвሞη ужиኩ |
