So you're 2.5" SSD will run at 300Mbps max out of the typical 550Mbps rated speeds of most 2.5" SSDs. Still 2x-3x faster than a mechanical HD.

I just got a PS3 for the first time and I want to play my Uncharted 3 game, but that can't happen unless I figure out how to make the disc drive open up. Hopefully someone else has a Super Slim who might be able to help me out here.
